abstract |
Disclosed is a novel biodegradable polymer with no water solubility (hygroscopicity) which is moldable while being excellent in water disintegratability and biodegradability. Also disclosed is a production method, molded product and use of such a biodegradable polymer. Specifically disclosed is a biodegradable polymer having one or more imine bonds in a molecule, which polymer is characterized in that the imine bond forms a part of the main chain structure of the biodegradable polymer. This biodegradable polymer may preferably contain a chemical structure containing biodegradable units and imine units having one or more imine bonds in which structure each two biodegradable units are linked by the imine unit. |
