titleOfInvention Endoscope and image processing device
abstract A timing signal from a timing circuit unit (29) of a video processor (20) drives a normal light CCD (11) via a normal light CCD control unit (25) and drives a fluorescent light CCD (12) via a fluorescent light CCD control unit (26). An imaging signal from the normal light CCD (11) by the RGB plane sequence method is processed by a video circuit unit (27) for a normal light image while an imaging signal from the fluorescent light CCD (12) is processed by a video circuit unit (28) for a fluorescent light image so as to extract an imaging signal of an object which has been excited by a flue illumination light and passed through a fluorescent light passing filter (13) and generate a fluorescent light image of the object. The normal color image and the fluorescent light image of the object are combined by an image synthesis circuit unit (30), outputted to a monitor (2), and the normal light image and the fluorescent light image are displayed in parallel or in a superimposed way.
