abstract The invention relates to a resin composition which is used for the production of coatings, such as concrete, terrazzo and polymeric finishes, containing: a) between 15 and 50 wt.- % methacrylate methyl monomer (MMA); b) between 25 and 75 wt.- % of a mixture comprising in equal parts (i) an isophthalic polyester resin, (ii) an orthophthalic polyester resin and (iii) a neopentylic polyester resin; c) up to 8 wt.- % of an epoxic resin obtained from bisphenol A and epichorohydrin; and d) up to 5 wt.- % of an aliphatic or aromatic polyurethanic resin.
