abstract The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an agglomerated stone item, for example a slab for construction or decoration, comprising the steps of: contacting (i) the inorganic filler, (ii) a precursor composition of a polyester resin and (iii) a powdered electrically conductive component, and mixing until obtaining a homogeneous manufacturing mass; distributing a part of said mass on a support; pressing the part of distributed mass in a vibrocompaction press under vacuum conditions; and hardening the mass by polymerization of the polyester resin.
