Process for producing penicillanic acid compound |
abstract |
A process for producing a penicillanic acid compound represented by the formula (2), characterized by reacting a halogenated penicillanic acid compound represented by the formula (1) with (b) a metal having a lower standard oxidation-reduction potential than bismuth in the presence of (a) bismuth metal or a bismuth compound. (1) (In the formula, X and Y each represents hydrogen or halogeno, provided that not both of X and Y are hydrogen; n is an integer of 0 to 2; and R represents a carboxy-protecting group.) (2) (In the formula, n and R are the same as defined above.) |
