abstract |
A process for making graft copolymers by using a reactive, peroxide-containing polyolefin comprising: a) preparing a polymer mixture comprising: I. about 80.0 to about 99.5 wt% of a reactive, peroxide-containing olefin polymer material (A); and II. about 0.5 to about 20.0 wt% of at least one vinyl monomer capable of being polymerized or grafted in the presence of free radicals; b) extruding or compounding in molten state the polymer mixture, thereby producing a melt mixture; and optionally c) pelletizing the melt mixture after it is cooled. |
