abstract |
A self-diagnostic test apparatus (10) and method of manufacturing the test apparatus is described for screening mineral imbalances in a patient by analysing reactions between a patient sample and mineral specific reagents (14). The test device (10) has amultiplicity of regions (12) with mineral specific reagents (14) thereon and a scale (16) to indicate which mineral is being measured by the respective reagents (14). The reagents (14) present may test for those elements that occur naturally in the body or a subset thereof. The subsets can include microtrace elements and trace elements and combinations thereof. |
