Photoelectric conversion element |
abstract |
A photoelectric conversion element, characterized in that it uses an ion conducting film exhibiting reversible electrochemical oxidation-reduction characteristics as a charge transfer layer. The ion conducting film exhibiting reversible electrochemical oxidation-reduction characteristics is preferably an ion conducting film comprising (a) a polymer matrix, (b) a plasticizer and (c) a substance exhibiting reversible electrochemical oxidation-reduction characteristics, wherein the polymer matrix is more preferably a poly(vinylidene fluoride) based polymer. The photoelectric conversion element has good appearance as an article, is free from the occurrence of troubles such as the leak of a liquid, and is excellent in durability. |
