A biosensor, comprising an insulating substrate, an electrode system having a measurement pole and an opposite pole installed on the insulating substrate, a reaction layer having at least an oxidoreductase and an electronic mediator, a liquid specimen feed passage having the electrode system and the reaction layer and communicating with an air hole on the end part side thereof, a liquid specimen feed passage, a liquid specimen adding part, and a filter for filtrating blood corpuscles installed between the liquid specimen feed passages, wherein the upper surface and the end faces of the primary side portion of the filter are exposed to the outside, and the liquid specimen adding part is installed adjacent to the primary side portion, whereby all blood can be easily added to the sensor even in the measurement of the blood collected by piercing a finger tip so that the liquid specimen can be rapidly fed from the added all blood to the filter. |
