An aqueous dispersion type fluororesin coating composition, which comprises (A) fluororesin particles, (B) a nitrogen-free high-boiling polyhydric alcohol having a boiling point of 100 °C or above and bearing two or more hydroxyl groups, (C) particles of a depolymerizable acrylic resin whose decomposition/vaporization temperature ranges up to the decomposition temperature of the fluororesin, (D) a nonionic surfactant, and (E) an aqueous solvent with the contents of the components (B) and (C) being 5 to 18 parts by mass and 5 to 25 parts by mass respectively per 100 parts by mass of the component (A) and which does not contain any oxidizing agent or any amine solvent. The composition has excellent storage stability, permits thick coating with little mud-cracking, and can form a coating which does not cause cracking or discoloration in baking. Further, the composition is inhibited as completely as possible from discharging endocrine disrupting chemicals. |
