titleOfInvention Liquid crystal display element and method for fabricating the same
abstract A liquid crystal display having a high transition speed in which bend alignment is formed easily upon application of a voltage of several volts by subjecting an alignment film, which can impart liquid crystal molecules with a pretilt angle of 15-90°, to parallel alignment. A liquid crystal display requiring no transition operation can also be provided. Furthermore, a liquid crystal display of OCB mode excellent in practicality can be provided because of excellent field angle characteristics.
