titleOfInvention | Method for prolonging the action on acupuncture points for reducing body weight |
abstract | A method for acupuncture reflexotherapy is disclosed. The method may include introducing a needle rod having a head formed at a first end into one or more auricular acupuncture points of a patient. The needle may be secured to the patient with a detachable retainer at a second end of the needle rod. Additionally, the retainer may be non-detachable from the needle rod and may be formed by a bended free end of the needle rod. The method may further include varying one or more parameters of the needle rod, head, or retainer to alter a stimulating effect on the auricular acupuncture points and induce weight loss. |
