titleOfInvention Needle and applicator device for carrying out reflexotherapeutic treatment
abstract FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has rod with a sharp end. The needle is coated on one end with a zone composed of at least two materials having different electrochemical potentials. The coating materials are selectable from chromium, nickel, copper, silver, cobalt, aluminum, magnesium, zinc, titanium, vanadium, beryllium, gold, platinum, palladium, strontium, tellurium and their alloys and oxides. The sharp rod material is selectable from the same set of materials additionally having steel. The coating is optionally applied to the rod without sharp end or to the sharp end only. The coating is optionally multiplayer and has one more coating applied above the former one on the sharp end. The coating is optionally applied using spraying method to obtain a compact or loose layers. This needle design provides both mechanical and electrical action applicable to required patient body zone. The applicator device has base and needles mounted thereon, each one having rod with sharp end and head at the end. The needles are manufacturable from steel, chromium, nickel, copper or silver. Chromium, nickel, copper and silver coating covers the needle. A part of needles has partial and/or complete coatings. When partial, the coating forms zones near needle tips composed at least from two materials having different electrochemical potentials. The needle and its coating are manufactured from material set having additionally cobalt, aluminum, magnesium, zinc, titanium, vanadium, beryllium, gold, platinum, palladium, strontium, tellurium and their alloys and oxides. The needles in the applicator device are to be arranged so that adjacent needles are to be made of different materials of the bases and coatings. The applicator device provides spatially complex heterogeneous electrical field from micro-currents between needles and micro-currents between the needle bases and their coatings. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; wide range of functional applications in performing electrophoresis. 9 cl, 12 dwg
