A hot-melt ink that exhibits good penetration into recording paper, comprises at least one binder and at least one coloring matter dispersed or dissolved therein, and the hot-melt ink, during cooling, exhibits a peak at a temperature of 61 DEG C. or below on a heating/cooling hysteresis curve plotted for the range 40 DEG C. to 150 DEG C. using a differential scanning calorimeter. |
