titleOfInvention | Silver halide photographic material |
abstract | An improved silver halide photographic material that has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support and that contains a hydrazine derivative in said emulsion layer or an adjacent layer. The improvement is that said emulsion layer or at least one of the other hydrophilic colloidal layers contains at least one of the compounds represented by the following general formulas (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein R 1 and R 1 ' are each a group selected from among a substituted or unsubstituted alkane residue, an alkene residue, a benzene residue, a cyclohexane residue and a nitrogenous heterocyclic residue; R 2 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R 3 , R 3 ', R 4 and R 4 ' are each a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted methyl group, provided that R 3 and R 4 or R 3 ' are not a methyl group at the same time; Y is a divalent organic residue; M and M' are each a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an ammonium salt or an organic amine salt; P is a positive integer; and m is 0 to 1. |
