abstract Carbonate polymer compositions exhibit good thermal stability and good non-yellowing characteristics. Compositions comprise a carbonate polymer (e.g., a homopolycarbonate of bisphenol A), a heat stabilizing phosphorous compound (e.g., an organo-phosphite or an organo-phosphonite), an epoxy compound containing internal acyclic ether linkages (e.g., a diglycidyl ether of a polypropylene glycol), and optionally a hindered phenol. Such compositions retain desirable properties upon exposure to hot and humid conditions.
