abstract |
A silver halide color photographic material is provided, having on a support, one or more cyan coupler-containing red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, magenta coupler-containing green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and yellow coupler-containing blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers and additionally having a silver halide emulsion layer which contains at least one cyan coupler and which is spectrally sensitized such that the relation of the maximum sensitivity wavelength lambda RG of the spectral sensitivity distribution thereof to the weight averaged wavelength of sensitivity lambda R of the spectral sensitivity distribution of said red-sensitive layer and the weight averaged wavelength of sensitivity lambda G of the spectral sensitivity distribution of said green-sensitive layer satisfies the formulae lambda R- lambda RG>/=5 nm and lambda RG- lambda G>/=5 nm. The present photographic materials have high sensitivity and high and faithful color reproducibility. |
