Disclosed is a color photographic element comprising at least fournimaging layers including:n a first light sensitive silver halide imaging layer having associatedntherewith a cyan image dye-forming coupler; a second light sensitive silver halide imaging layer having associatedntherewith a magenta image dye-forming coupler; a third light sensitive silver halide imaging layer having associatedntherewith a yellow image dye-forming coupler; and a fourth light sensitive silver halide imaging layer having associatedntherewith a fourth image dye-forming coupler for which the normalized spectralntransmission density distribution curve of the dye formed by the fourth image dye-formingncoupler upon reaction with color developer has a CIELAB hue angle, h ab ,nof from not less than 355° to not more than 75°. The element provides improvedncolor gamut. |
