abstract Disclosed herein are plasticizer systems for polyvinyl butyral interlayers used in laminated safety glass. The plasticizer system is a blend of a phosphate plasticizer and a diester of an alipahtic dicarboxylic acid wherein the diester contains from 14 to 28 carbon atoms. The blend allows the use of many phosphate and diester plasticizers which are unsuitable when used alone.
