titleOfInvention Method for in silico Modeling of Gene Product Expression and Metabolism
abstract The present invention provides an integrated model of metabolic and macromolecular expression (ME-Model), and a method for reconstructing an ME-Model from biological data. Specifically, the present invention provides a ME-Model which uses a biochemical knowledgebase of an organism to accurately determine the metabolic and macromolecular phenotype of the organism under different conditions. Further, the present invention provides a method to determine the most efficient conditions for producing a product from an organism.
