In another embodiment, the present invention also provides organic light emitting devices comprising an anode, a cathode, and an organic layer disposed between the anode and the cathode, wherein the organic layer comprises an arylpyrene compound doped in an anthracene host, preferably ADN. Another embodiment of the present invention provides specific arylpyrene compounds.
