In certain embodiments, said subject is a subject with definite amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a subject with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis symptom onset duration of less than about 18 months, a subject with a high level of serum creatinine, a subject with concomitant riluzole administration and combinations thereof.
