titleOfInvention Method for treating patients with odontogenic osteomyelitis
abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, and discloses a method for treating patients with odontogenic osteomyelitis using platelet-rich fibrin. The method is characterized in that the fibrin clot obtained by centrifugation of the native blood from the patient's vein is placed into the bone cavity, while the volume of blood is taken twice the volume of the affected bone tissue, the fibrin clot is prepared by adding the antibacterial drug ciprofloxacin to the blood before centrifugation in the ratio of 0.5 mg of the drug per ml of whole blood. Early mechanical stress reduces bone regression, which speeds up the recovery of chewing function. The method can be used to carry out the final stage of the operation on tissues prone to ischemic necrosis in conditions of chronic contamination with pathogenic microflora.EFFECT: method allows to adequately fill the volume of the lesion with a fibrin clot in the bone cavity, in the early stages to use the alveolar process of the jaws for fixing the prostheses, since there is no significant deformation of the latter.1 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex
