abstract FIELD: biotechnology. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, specifically to a method of producing a heterogeneous bromeline preparation by covalent bonding with a chitosan matrix. Method involves immobilising bromelain on an average molecular weight chitosan matrix of 200 kDa or high-molecular chitosan of 350 kDa. To 900 mg of the carrier one adds 18 ml of the enzyme solution in 0.05 M tris-glycine buffer with pH 9.0 for medium-molecular weight or pH 8.5 for high-molecular chitosan in concentration of 1 mg/ml. Glutaraldehyde 10 ml is also added with 15 % concentration for medium molecular weight or 10 % concentration for high-molecular chitosan. Mixture is incubated with periodic stirring for 1 hour. Suspension is centrifuged at 1,500 g for 10 minutes. Formed precipitate is washed with 50 mM tris-HCl buffer pH 7.5 until absence of protein in washing water. Invention can be used in industry and research purposes when creating agents for removing rust from metals, for softening leather articles, for cleaning waste water. n EFFECT: technical result of the declared invention consists in increasing the rate of enzymatic reaction and increasing the effectiveness of using the preparation based on bromeline and chitosan, including in reactors of continuous action. n 1 cl, 3 dwg
