abstract | FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. Vitrectomy is performed for transplantation of stem cells in case of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) damage in experimental rabbit. Between the pigment epithelium and neuroepithelium, a stem cell suspension in amount of 50.000 cells in 100 mcl of the BSS solution is introduced to form a bladder. Place of introduction is plugged with PFOC in amount required for radial smoothening and displacement of the bladder with cells from the point of introduction. Endolaser coagulation is performed around the stem cells and PFOC is removed.EFFECT: method provides the possibility of studying the effects of stem cells administration in the damage of pigment epithelium of various genesis in the conditions of minimal injury of retinal layers, long-term integration of stem cells, restoration of function RPE in area of degeneration of pigment epithelium for development of the subsequent method of treatment of degenerative-dystrophic diseases of retina.1 cl, 1 ex |
