titleOfInvention Method for integrated treatment of cattle necrobacteriosis
abstract FIELD: veterinary medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method for treating cattle necrobacteriosis, consisting in cleansing involved cattle hooves with subsequent removal of necrotic tissues, followed by administering hyperimmune serum derived from Fusobacterium necrophorum strain with Fusobacterium necrophorum antibodies in titre of not less than 1:128 in agglutination reaction (AR), characterized by that after cleaning, 6 % peroxide solution is washed, followed by fixation of the gauze tampon moistened with the composition, in which the ratio of components, wt%: ethyl alcohol 95–55.6 %, glycerine – 33.3 %, iodine solution alcohol 5–11.1 %, imposing a tight bandage on an affected extremity with a course of treatment with a standard form of clinical course of necrobacteriosis for 2 weeks while observing norms of feeding and keeping cattle taking into account the needs and physiological state; hyperimmune serum is represented by serum obtained from blood of clinically healthy producers, hyperimmunized with inactivated necrobacteriosis antigens Fusobacterium necrophorum, and preserved with phenol solution to concentration of not more than 0.5 %; animals are followed by strict control of content, providing dry deep litter and adequate feeding according to age norms and taking into account physiological state of sick animals. It can be used for treating necrobacteriosis in farm animals.EFFECT: use of the declared invention provides more effective and fast treatment of cattle necrobacteriosis.3 cl, 1 tbl
