titleOfInvention Method for determining viability of human spermatozoa
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to reproductive medicine, and can be used to determine viability of human spermatozoa using a lectinhistochemistry method. That is ensured by staining the sperm cell suspension with a false narcissus lectin (Narcissus pseudonarcissus L.) labeled with fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), followed by material analysis by flow cytometry. n EFFECT: invention has high reproducibility, which enables to compare viability of spermatozoa before and after cryopreservation or at different stages of treating male infertility; also has moderate time costs when conducting single tests and significant reduction of time spent in conducting mass tests, which enables to improve the choice of treatment of infertility, improve selection of spermatic donors when creating donor banks. n 1 cl, 5 dwg, 6 ex
