FIELD: technological processes. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of removing an organic amine from a hydrocarbon stream. One of the variants of the method includes: mixing a hydrocarbon stream comprising an amine with an aqueous inorganic acid in a volume ratio of a hydrocarbon stream : an aqueous inorganic acid of greater than 1.5:1 to 5:1; phase separation into a hydrocarbon phase and an aqueous phase; removal of the hydrocarbon phase; mixing of the aqueous phase with an aqueous alkaline solution; phase separation into the aqueous phase and organic phase and removal of the organic phase; the aqueous inorganic acid having a concentration greater than or equal to 30 % by weight. n EFFECT: disclosed process results to a reduction in the phase separation time during the amine removal process. n 10 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
