FIELD: biotechnology. n SUBSTANCE: method for producing virus-like particles (VLPs) in a plant is provided, introducing a nucleic acid comprising a regulatory region active in the plant and operably linked to the chimeric nucleotide sequence, into the plant or part of the plant, subsequent incubation of the plant or part thereof under conditions allowing the expression of the nucleic acid to produce a VLP. Virus-like particle (VLP) obtained by this method, a composition and a plant cell containing same are also disclosed. Chimeric nucleotide sequence encodes, in series, an ectodomain from a virus trimeric surface derived from Retroviridae, Rhabdoviridae, Coronaviridae or Filoviridae viruses, fused to the transmembrane domain and the cytoplasmic tail domain (TM/CT) of the influenza virus hemagglutinin. Disclosed VLP contains chimeric viral surface proteins and lipids derived from a plant. n EFFECT: disclosed method allows to obtain, in a plant, virus-like particles containing viral surface proteins for the use of the obtained VLP as a vaccine. n 18 cl, 70 dwg, 5 tbl, 12 ex |
