abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and is intended for prevention of excessive scarring of dacryostoma after dacryocystorhinostomy. For this purpose mitomycin-C solution in concentration 0.2 mg/ml is introduced into lacrimal sac mucosa in dose 0.1 ml in 4 points on perimeter of bone "window" preliminarily before opening medial wall of lacrimal sac. Mitomycin-C solution is also introduced into nasal mucosa around dacryostoma after its formation in dose 0.1 ml in 6 points. n EFFECT: invented method provides reduction of intensity of dacryostoma scarring processes both from nasal mucosa and from lacrimal sac mucosa with reduction of number of recurrences after dacryocystorhinostomy. n 2 ex |
