abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely a method for prediction of a risk of preeclampsia in Russian females, natives of Central Black Earth Region of Russia. Substance of the method consists in sampling venous blood, recovering DNA from peripheral venous blood, analysing genetic polymorphism in -344C/T CYP11 B2 locus in a combination with the other predictors of this pregnancy complication. The risk of preeclampsia is predicted by solving the equation P = e y /(1+e y ), wherein e is a mathematical constant equal to 2.72, whereas y is derived from an equation of binary logistic regression as follows: y = 16.462+0.820*x 1 +0.680*x 2 -2.470*x 3 -2.444*x 4 -0.132*x 5 , wherein x 1 is the genetic variation in 344C/T CYP11 B2 locus, wherein CC or TC is 1, TT is 0; x 2 is smoking: yes - 0, no - 1; x 3 is preeclampsia in the family: yes - 0, no - 1; x 4 is a cardiovascular pathology: yes - 0, no - 1; x 5 is a pre-pregnancy systolic blood pressure, mm Hg. n EFFECT: using the declared method makes it possible to predict the risk of preeclampsia effectively in Russian females, natives of Central Black Earth Region of Russia. n 2 tbl, 1 dwg, 2 ex
