abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of production of active coals, used in systems of respiratory tract protection, as well as in industrial gas-purifying installations. Method of active coal obtaining includes impregnation of coal base grains, representing active coal, which contains 1.0-1.5 wt %, potassium, and has volume of sorbing pores 0.5-0.6 cm 3 /g. Impregnation is performed with solution with temperature 40-55°C, containing salts of copper, chrome, silver and triethylene diamine. Substances are contained in solution with their weight ratio (4.5-7.0):(1.2-2.5):(0.04-0.06):(0.4-0.6), taken by weight of dry active coal. n EFFECT: claimed method makes it possible to obtain active coal, possessing increased soption activity on cyanogen chloride in conditions of high relative humidity. n 3 ex
