abstract FIELD: food industry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The functional sweetener composition contains a functional ingredient, a composition of rebaudioside A and polyol. A glucosamine is used as the functional ingredient. Rebaudioside A has purity higher 95% in terms of dry substance weight. Rebaudioside A includes a water-free polymorph of rebaudioside A, a solvate polymorph of rebaudioside A, amorphous rebaudioside A or their combination. The weight ratio of rebaudioside A to polyol is within the range from 1:4 to 1:800.
