abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: viral vaccine contains cell-associated turkey herpes virus (THV) of "Vladimir" strain, cattle blood serum (CBS) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) in ratio, wt %: 60.0÷80.0; 15.0÷25.0 and 5.0÷15.0 respectively. Strain is deposited in FGI VGNKI collection of microorganisms under registration number (reference) "Vladimir No 124-DEP" THV (further "Strain"). Strain is reproduced in culture of SPF-chicken embryo fibroblast cells (CFE) and reaches titre 3.5·10 6 PFU/cm 3 , for vaccine manufacturing used is suspension of infected CFE cells with titre not lower than 5.5·10 5 PFU/cm 3 . n EFFECT: viral vaccine possesses high immunogenic activity, protects immunised population of poultry against infection of epizootic MDV, circulating on the territory of Russia. n 6 cl, 5 ex, 3 tbl |
