abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of 2-(aminomethyl)-3-phenyl-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane derivatives of formula , which can be used in medicine as an agent for medicinal preparations having thymoanaleptic, toning effect, involving reaction of acrylonitrile with the corresponding nitrophenyldiazonium chloride and dehydrohalogenation of the product to obtain trans-isomers of cinnamonitrile derivatives which then react with cyclopentadiene,and then reduction of the obtained substituted 3-phenyl-bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2-carbonitriles with hydrogen, where the substituted 3-phenyl-bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2-carbonitriles are reduced by active hydrogen obtained from reacting aluminium, contained in a nickel-aluminium alloy, with potassium hydroxide, while adding aqueous potassium hydroxide solution and powdered nickel-aluminium alloy to the solution of substituted 3-phenyl-bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-2-carbonitriles in tetrahydrofuran. n EFFECT: efficient method for synthesis of 2-(aminomethyl)-3-phenyl-bicyclo[2,2,1]heptane derivatives. n 1 cl
