titleOfInvention Method of transplanting descemet's membrane - microinvasive plasty of descemet's membrane
abstract FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology, namely to transplantation of Descemet's membrane (DM) in case of primary and secondary endothelial cornea dystrophy. Fresh dono's cornea is dissected. DM is separated from stroma by means of spatula, which is brought under DM from the side of posterior stroma layers. As an injector, catheter with diametre 14 G, connected with a syringe, is used. Introduction of transplant is carried out through cornea cut 2 mm wide. Introduced Descemet's membrane is smoothed by introducing air bubble before DM with further additional external massage of cornea. ^ EFFECT: method ensures reduction of occurrence of Descemet's membrane rupture at the state of its separation, as well as atraumaticity for endothelial monolayer, reduction of probability of damaging structures of anterior and posterior chambers, reduction of trauma to endothelial cells of transplant during its smoothing, reduction of operation time. ^ 1 ex
