titleOfInvention Method and device for treating complicated forms of ablatio retinae
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves smoothing detached retina edges, sclera and vascular eye tunic impression to the place of retina rupture by means of inflatable balloon. The sclera and vascular eye tunic impression is carried out when cooling to a temperature providing chorioretinal commissure formation with self-inflatable balloon filled with biologically inert substance placed under circle band produced from biodegradable biological material. Counter-pressure is applied at the place of retina rupture and detachment by means of inflatable intraocular balloon after having smoothed the rolled-up retina boundaries using rod introduced into the eye cavity together with the inflatable intraocular balloon via incision in sclera. The inflatable intraocular balloon holds retina after having smoothed the rolled-up retina boundaries in the rupture region by means of rod to apply tamponade. n EFFECT: excluded eye tissue contact with chemicals preventing their leakage through retina rupture; excluded circular episcleral stopping. n 4 cl, 6 dwg
