FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of isolation of biologically active substances from vegetable raw. Method involves sap squeezing out from Rhaponticum genus plant fresh leaves followed by its filtration and concentration of filtrate. To the obtained concentrate ethyl acetate is added in an equal volume followed by stirring and solution is separated from low-polar impurities in ethyl acetate. From the purified concentrate ecdysterone is extracted with ethyl acetate, extract is concentrated by evaporation, cooled and formed ecdysterone crystals are filtered off.
