titleOfInvention Method of detection of brucellosis pathogen
abstract FIELD: microbiology, bacteriological diagnosis. SUBSTANCE: method involves subcutaneous injection in back region of biotested animals 0.5-1 ml of the analyzed material suspension in saline solution. Analyzed material is mixed preliminary with chicken egg yolk at the ratio = (1:0.5)-(1:0.7) and 0.5-0.7 ml of guinea pig heparinized blood, 5-7 mg of cortisone, 0.4-1.0 mg of polymixin and 0.04-0.08 mg of gentian violet are added to the mixture. Then bacteriological analysis of pathological material taken from the injection point only is carried out. Polymixin (200-300 mcg/ml) and gentian violet (0.02-0.03 mcg/ml) are added to the solid nutrient medium. Invention ensures to obtain the pure culture of brucellosis pathogen for the shortest time since it provides favorable conditions for retention, multiplication and accumulation of brucellae being at the injection point only and without development of the generalized process. EFFECT: improved method of detection. 3 ex
