abstract FIELD: thermoinsulating coatings of conductors and cables and also manufacture of pipes, films and thermoshrinking products. SUBSTANCE: composition comprises high density polyethylene, vinyl-tri-(-(β--ethoxyethyloxy) silane, organic peroxide and further comprises product of partial transetherification of ethoxyhydroxysiloxanes with polyglycols containing 16-21 wt % SiO 2 . This makes it possible to increase degree of cross-linking of the composition by 80%. EFFECT: improved properties of the cross-linking composition. 1 tbl
