abstract | FIELD: explosives. SUBSTANCE: method consists in preparing explosive in two-step process: mixture of trinitrotoluene and ammonium nitrate is first prepared which is then supplemented by rock salt or aluminum powder. Transferring individual components and final explosive is effected by pneumatic transport in discrete mode by 40-50 kg doses combining transferring with cooling. Interoperation transportation facilities, when components are subjected to mixing, are also operated in discrete mode. Installation contains trinitrotoluene-ammonium nitrate double mixture preparation unit, triple mixture (plus salt or Al powder) preparation unit, pneumatic transport blocks for individual components and final product equipped by cooling system and means for detecting and interrupting combustion and detonation processes.
