abstract |
The present invention relates to a paracoccus sp. strain having iminodipropionitrile decomposition activity, a composition for biodegradation of iminodipropionitrile comprising the same, and a method for removing the toxicity of iminodipropionitrile from wastewater using the same. Paracoccus communis NK1007 strain of the present invention is capable of continuous self-proliferation even in a wastewater environment containing 100,000 mg/L of ultra-high concentration iminodipropionitrile, and is capable of biodegrading iminodipropionitrile. Because of its excellent activity, it can be usefully used to reduce or remove the toxicity of iminodipropionitrile-contaminated wastewater. |
