titleOfInvention Method for preparation of glycerol carbonate by using ZIF-95 as catalyst
abstract DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of glycerol carbonate by catalyzing ZIF-95, which is one of the zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF) containing zinc as a porous inorganic coordination compound, The present invention relates to a process for producing glycerol carbonate. The catalyst used in the process of the present invention is prepared by a solvent thermo-synthetic process and has a regular and stable porous structure. Therefore, the catalyst is more excellent in reactivity and stability than conventional catalysts, The catalyst is advantageous in that glycerol carbonate can be synthesized at a very high yield under relatively mild reaction conditions as compared with other catalysts.
