abstract | The present invention relates to a health supplement pill having an enhanced savory taste and a method for preparing the same, wherein the method comprises the following: a fermentation step in which sliced lotus roots and peeled lotus seeds at a weight ratio of 1:1 are placed in an air-tight container and the container is then indirectly heated through a heating device in which the container is placed, so that the fermentation is induced only through the moisture within the container, in which, during the indirect heating, caramelization process is performed by alternately subjecting the container to temperatures higher than the standard temperature inside the container, in order to induce browning of the fermented lotus roots and increase the sweetness; a drying step in which the fermented lotus roots and lotus seeds are dried to a water content of 3-4%; a powdering step in which the dried lotus roots and lotus seeds are granulated to produce a lotus powder; a first composition preparation step in which 70-80 wt% of a liquid extract and 20-30 wt% of the lotus powder are mixed and kneaded to produce a first composition; a step in which the first composition is mixed with honey at a weight ratio of 3:1 and kneaded; and a step in which the first composition is fermented for 24-36 hours. |
