abstract The present invention provides a method for cryopreserving a pluripotent stem cell-derived tissue, which comprises the following (1) to (3). (1) A first step of bringing the tissue derived from pluripotent stem cells into contact with a cell protection solution containing a sulfoxide and a chain polyol. (2) a second step of maintaining the tissue derived from pluripotent hepatocytes in contact with the cell protection solution in the first step in a frozen storage solution. (3) A third step of freezing the tissue derived from pluripotent stem cells maintained in the frozen storage liquid in the second step in the presence of a coolant. By this method, it is possible to provide a method for stably preserving the tissue derived from pluripotent stem cells.
