abstract The present invention significantly reduces Me 2 SO concentration and removes animal bovine serum, while using trehalose, sucrose and catalase to freeze long-term cryopreservation without damaging amniotic fluid stem cells. It is possible to cryopreserve amniotic fluid derived stem cells using 1/4 of the standard Me 2 SO concentration by adding disaccharides, antioxidants and caspase inhibitors. As a result, the use of low concentrations of Me 2 SO in the cryopreservative solution has an industrial effect supporting the development of AFSC clinical trials.
