abstract |
The present invention (A) an oil-soluble ester basestock; Or greater than 0.1% by mass to less than 90% by mass of an oil-in-water emulsion base stock, and at least 50% by mass of a lubricating viscosity oil residue; (B) a small amount of a metal alkyl salicylate detergent; And (C) from more than 0.1% by mass to less than 10% by mass of an oil soluble polyalkenyl-substituted carboxylic acid anhydride, wherein the at least one polyalkenyl group is derived from a polyalkene having a number average molecular weight of 200 to 3000, To a trunk piston marine engine lubricant. The asphaltene precipitation in the lubricating oil composition caused by the presence of the contaminant heavy fuel oil is prevented or suppressed. |
