abstract |
A test unit cartridge containing a plurality of test units includes a first test unit comprising a first analyte sensor and a second test unit comprising a second analyte sensor. The first and second analyte sensors use first and second reagents for detecting the first and second analytes, respectively. The first analyte is different from the second analyte, and the first and second test units are functionally irreplaceable. The plurality of inspection units may also comprise a third inspection unit comprising two analyte sensors with two reagents for detecting two different analytes using one fluid sample. A method of using a test unit cartridge is described, which method includes mounting a cartridge in an analyte testing device; (I) exposing the analyte sensor of the inspection unit, (ii) preparing the lancet, and (iii) caulking the actuator of the apparatus configured to move the lancet cartridge. |
