According to the present invention, the moisture and gas barrier properties of organopolysiloxanes having two or more substituents capable of crosslinking reaction per molecule will be improved. This is achieved by providing at least 10 mol% of all substituents to the organopolysiloxane represented by the formula (1): [Wherein q is an integer of 0 to 5, and R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are each independently a methyl or ethyl group]. The present invention further relates to compositions based on the organopolysiloxanes mentioned above, to the use of said organopolysiloxanes and compositions. |
