abstract PURPOSE: A paint composition using porous aerogel is provided to have excellent adhesion, thermal insulation, and flame resistance, and high dispersivity. CONSTITUTION: A paint composition using porous aerogel comprises a step of porous silica aerogel to an aqueous binder resin. The paint composition comprises 2-30 weight% of a porous silica aerogel, 15-45 weight% of an aqueous binder resin, 15-50 weight% of an alcohol-based solvent, 1-5 weight% of a curing agent, 1-2 weight% of a dispersant, and 0.5-3 weight% of a foaming agent. The porous silica aerogel has micropores in the particle, has a particle diameter of 1-10 micron, and is hydrophobic.
